Position Overview

Vantage is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team and help the team develop dashboard and Financial Model with Power BI and Excel to improve the internal process and reporting of financial data. The analyst will be implementing various new models providing tangible improvements to make the business more agile but also participating in the establishment of the budget and monthly forecast for the Canadian sites.

Essential Job Functions & Duties- Build and maintain various reports & dashboards used regularly to steer our operations.- Develop financial models and budgets for new business concepts and resulting financial impact to help drive data driven decision making.- Assist in month end, quarterly, annual operating financial planning and financial reporting to various stakeholdersm working cross functionally with various teams, including business finance, accounting, and business operations.- Drive continuous improvement and standardization of processes, implement best practices and deliver automation throughout month-end close and financial planning cycles.- Analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.- Support the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.- Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.- Deliver detailed variance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities, and effectively communicate results to senior leadership in order to influence tactical and strategic business decisions.- Work with multiple datasets and transform it into insights and information.- Participate in Finance initiatives, including but not limited to process improvements, ad hoc analyses, and preparation of periodic reporting activities.

Job Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or IT with 1+ year finance experience;- Excellent financial/business modeling & analysis skills. Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.- Knowledge of Yardi Voyager, preferred but not require- Ability to simplify, generate actionable business insights from complex datasets, rationalize & forecast business implications and develop recommendations/formulate business cases.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to influence stakeholders to ensure business needs & goals are met.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, comfortable working with ambiguity and change.- Self-motivated, able to work through multiple, competing priorities.- Bilingualism (French and English) is preferable for this position due to the nature of the role requiring daily interactions with Finance Department whose stakeholders are located in the United States and Canada
