As a **BIM Design Technician** in **Vancouver**, you will too. You’ll have the opportunity to thrive among a collaborative and innovative team of designers and engineers of multiple disciplines to deliver a variety of functions, including: - Prepares engineering drawings of plans, elevations, cross sections and details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering design information according to established standards and procedures - Performs design/drafting assignments, requiring advanced working knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices and techniques - Works collaboratively in a team environment with other Technicians and Engineers with mínimal supervision - Actively promotes and contributes to the successful completion of projects from initial concept, through the planning process to implementation - Assumes responsibility and meets or exceeds deliverable deadlines for own portion of the project scope, schedule and budget - Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings - Performs other duties as required - You’ll be working mainly from home (unless you prefer coming into the office), with the expectation to travel for client /site meetings and occasional team meetings._ We’re invested in you and your success. We’ll help you grow, pursue and fulfill what inspires you - so we can make big impacts on the world, together. **Here’s What You’ll Need**: - An Associate’s degree in Design or Drafter is preferred - At least 5 years of previous design experience - Extensive experience in the use of Revit and AutoCAD is required.
