We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Manager to lead our compliance and information security initiatives as a direct employee for our client. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish, optimize, and maintain a highly secure and available infrastructure.

**This is a hybrid role that requires occasional in-office attendance minimum 3-4 days/week**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure the high availability and adherence to standard security practices of Windows servers in the MS Azure environment.
- Over see IT team members and potentially other team members
- Collaborate with third-party security service providers to:Conduct regular threat hunting activities across all environments to identify unknown threats, address false positives, and mitigate risks.

Respond to alerts regarding unusual M365/Microsoft Azure logins.
Manage and oversee the VMWare farm.
Conduct external and internal scanning to identify potential vulnerabilities in open ports and system OS.
Conduct incident response investigations, containment, and root cause analysis activities across multiple platforms and environments in the event of a security incident.
- Perform regular patching to mitigate known system and software vulnerabilities.
- Maintain and adjust Firewall and SSL VPN appliances to align with business requirements.

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related technology field.
- Minimum of five years of combined experience in risk management, information security, and IT roles.
- Thorough understanding of various network and security architectures, protocols, and their appropriate usage.
- Proven expertise in breach mitigation and active breach management.
- Familiarity with VPN and SSL VPN appliances like Palo Alto and Sonicwall.
- Experience working with and managing VMWare farms, Microsoft Azure environments, and implementing Zero Trust configurations in Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Strong knowledge of information security and compliance, with an ability to focus on minute details while also considering macro-level strategic perspectives.
- Proficient in monitoring tools such as SentinelOne, 24/7 SOC, and SIEM.
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 products, including Excel, VBA, and Power Automate.
- Experience with SharePoint and/or Yardi Voyager is advantageous.
- Certifications in MS Servers and/or Cybersecurity are beneficial.

**Salary**: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
