**Position Summary**:
We’re looking for a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented individual to join our front-of-house team. This role is all about delivering an outstanding customer experience and supporting daily retail operations with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

As the face of Good Bread, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers—creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and ensuring each visit is memorable. A solid background in customer service is essential, and experience in a bakery or food retail setting is a definite plus.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service and lead by example
- Supervise and support front-of-house staff during daily operations
- Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment
- Assist customers with purchases, product knowledge, and special orders
- Count cash, complete daily reconciliations, and handle POS systems
- Monitor product displays, restock items, and reduce waste
- Place and manage inventory orders in the system to ensure proper stock levels
- Bring creative ideas to the table for increasing sales and enhancing customer experience
- Train, support, and motivate team members for peak efficiency
- Communicate effectively with back-of-house teams and management
- Adapt to changing needs and take initiative in solving problems
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Open and closing duties

**Requirements**:

- Strong customer service background: supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in a bakery or food retail environment is an asset
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive, adaptable, and efficient work ethic
- Cash handling and POS experience required (Toast efficiency is an asset)
- Must be able to drive (flexible with transit access)
- Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
