**Responsibilities**:
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following:
A Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of their designated area (Front of House or Kitchen). Shift Leaders will lead team members to ensure that operations are executed with excellence.
- Trained on all of Team Member duties and responsibilities
- Supervise shift operations to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant performance
- Supervise team performance by assigning tasks, managing breaks, and ensuring team members are in the right positions to meet operational needs
- Monitor product quality, customer service, and cleanliness to ensure the highest standards
- Address operational challenges or team issues during the shift, minimizing disruption
- Track and adjust staffing levels, operational flow, and task completion to meet business needs
- Ensure the execution of daily systems such as cleaning routines, waste management, and inventory tracking
- Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude, professionalism, and adherence to company policies
- Monitor the team’s adherence to health and safety standards, operational procedures, and company policies
- Provide updates on shift performance to management, including any issues or successes
- Oversee the transition between shifts to ensure tasks are completed and properly handed off
- Have fun and build lifelong relationships

**Note**: Shift Leader responsibilities are not limited to those listed above and from time to time, additional duties may need to be performed in order to support business demands.

**Requirements**:

- Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
- Must be available to work at least two (2) closing shifts or two (2) opening shifts per week, one of which must be Friday or Saturday.
- Ability to work in restaurant operations in respective house and having passing knowledge of the other
- Ability to work in a busy, open area office which may result in environmental interruptions
- Ability to spend long hours concentrating which will require attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Ability to work in different sections of the restaurant (front of the house, back of the house)
- Able to take direction and learn
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well both on a team and autonomously
- Perform physical activities such as lifting (up to 50 lbs.), balancing, bending, standing for long periods of time, walking, handling materials, boxes, equipment, pots, pans, and navigating shelving both high and low
- Previous experience in the food service industry is a must
- Food safety certification is preferred, but not required
- Punctual and reliable
- Speak French is a plus
- This role involves interaction with both internal and external contacts:

- Internal: Team Member, Shift Leader, Hospitality and Culinary Team Leader, Operator.
- External: Vendors, Suppliers, Mall Employee, Community.

Working hours: Between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm.
