Funeral Director

An exciting opportunity exists for a Licensed Funeral Director
in Qualicum Beach/Parksville, BC

**Responsibilities**:

- Meet with families to plan and arrange funeral services
- Coordinate all aspects of visitations, services, and burials/cremations
- Prepare and file legal documents, including death certificates and permits
- Oversee embalming or sanitary prep, dressing, and cosmetology when needed
- Assist in managing pre-need and at-need arrangements
- Ensure compliance with all provincial regulations
- Provide support and comfort to grieving families

Qualifications:

- Valid Funeral Director’s license in British Columbia
- Experience in funeral directing and/or embalming preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain professional under pressure
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- A genuine desire to serve families with dignity and compassion

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
