**General**

We are looking for a business development manager to join our robotics solution team at Maple advanced robotics Inc. (MARI) to spear head the expansion of our collaborative robotic automation platform.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Define and develop exceptional marketing strategies and plans in alignment with our business objectives
- Partner with external and internal teams to create go-to-market strategies and to craft messaging and communications in alignment with common goals
- Develop and execute strategic marketing and communications deliverables that build positive brand awareness and align to operational and business objectives
- Prospecting/sourcing out potential customers
- Present and sell products and services to current clients and new clients.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Contact sales prospects and other accounts as assigned.
- Present, prepare proposals and sales contracts.
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Prepare a variety of status reports for review by management including activity (Weekly Pipeline Report, Key Activities Report), closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
- Responsible for on-going professional sales development.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, sales campaign, client events, etc.
- Follow-up and assist for collection of overdue accounts.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent with minimum of three (5) years related robotic automation experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Understanding of marketing automation systems, nurture programs and dynamic content
- Industrial automation, robotics or vision experience.
- Long-term dedication to learn and grow within the MARI organization.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations and demonstrations.
- Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, technical and non-technical.
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
- General business intelligence and project management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and project a positive company image to customers and the public.
- Prepared to travel as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:
