Our Vaughan based head office is looking for a Warehouse Associate with forklift experience to join our warehouse team.

Job duties include but not limited to

  • Shipping - Picking and packing orders from one to multiple pallets shipment. Recording required information accurately on shipping documentations.
  • Receiving - Inspecting condition of product, verifying products’ type and quantity to match the receiving documentation and reporting issues to Manager.
  • Warehouse Maintenance - Performing daily and weekly maintenance of warehouse (cleaning, organization, health, and safety) as assigned.
  • Inventory Control - Performing inventory physical counts as part of the warehouse team.
  • Directing delivery trucks and loading/unloading of goods when required.
  • Demonstrating flexibility with scheduling based on operational needs, including working days, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Performing other duties and assignments as requested.

Health and Safety

  • Comply with all health and safety policy, measures and legislation.
  • Follow all Health and Safety procedures and safe systems of work.
  • Ensure the safe operation of equipment in a safe manner, including ladders, pump trucks, moveable stairs, dollies, and forklift.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum of 2 years recent relevant warehouse work experience.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook) are an asset.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management.
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Able to maintain a positive and professional tone.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
  • Able to lift to 30 kg Consistently throughout a shift.
  • Forklift experience
