**Job Summary**

Black Ridge provides Calgary with turn key construction and renovation services. We do full commercial and residential renovations that entail framing, drywall, paint, flooring, finish carpentry, tiling etc. We are looking for a versatile individual who can assist in all aspects of a project with enthusiasm. **Job sites are located throughout Calgary, therefore a drivers license, reliable vehicle and good attendance are all necessary for this position.**

**Duties**
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to complete tasks accurately.
- Install various types of finish materials including cabinets, trim, moldings, and doors.
- Perform drywall installation and finishing as required.
- Assist in various types of product installation such as tile backer board, bath tubs, vanities, millwork etc.
- Assemble furniture and fixtures as needed to meet project specifications.
- Utilize caulking techniques to seal joints and gaps for a polished finish.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of all aspects of the project.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a carpenter with a focus on finish work.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
- Strong skills in finish carpentry(doors/trim), drywall installation/finishing, construction painting, cabinet installation, and caulking.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
