Parkwest Projects Ltd. is currently seeking to hire someone as our Yard/Shop Maintenance Helper located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

As our Yard/Shop Maintenance Worker you will be an essential part of our team by supporting the successful delivery of our projects by organizing materials/tools and ensuring our sites are provided with the materials and equipment that they need. As our Yard/Shop Maintenance Worker you will have the opportunity to carry out a wide range of tasks both as part of a team and independently.

Our Yard/Shop Maintenance Helper will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:

- Assist in loading and Unloading trailers with materials and equipment
- Assist in loading and unloading lifting heavy materials
- Assist in gathering material/tools/equipment to provide to various construction sites
- Assist in maintaining the inventory organization of the yard as materials and tools are returned
- Assist in performing basic maintenance on tools, materials, equipment, and vehicles during downtime
- Assist in keeping yard and shop organized and in clean condition
- Must be willing to perform a variety of duties outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s licence or transportation to work as not located on bus route
- While not a requirement, general mechanical knowledge is seen as an asset.
- Must be punctual

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
