MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall job purpose - Management of all office duties and needs for the Counselling Centre. The Office Administrator will provide reception, secretarial and administrative support for the clinicians who provide clinical services at the Centre. Tasks include managing day to day operations, client and office-based paperwork, and overall communications. Other tasks on an as-needed basis.
To give all clients, visitors, vendors, and other stakeholders professional and sensitive front-line help and information, representing the counselling centre at this important first contact. The Office Administrator must have in-depth knowledge of Anishnaabe/Indigenous culture and the strengths and needs of families and individuals who are members of the different First Nations that comprise Nishinabe-Aski Nation territory. Familiarity with the historical legacy of the Canadian Indian residential school system is necessary. Knowledge of the services offered by Health Canada under the NIHB (Non-Insured Health Benefits) and the IRS (Indian Residential Schools Resolution Support Program) is also beneficial.
SKILLS
Highly organized, independent individual with excellent communication skills who can prioritize and complete tasks with minimum supervision in a private solo counselling practice environment. Able to multitask. Able to work under pressure. Able to maintain the strictest confidentiality concerning clientele. Able to be flexible in order to meet the needs of a two person office.

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
