**About Us**:
The One-Shot Manga Café is Toronto’s first and only manga café. We are an anime and manga-themed café and bookstore located in East Danforth.

Our vision is to become the number one local destination for the anime and manga fandom in Toronto.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and bubble tea.
- Prepare and serve food, including sandwiches and pastries.
- Assist with stocking, organizing, and sale of all products.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately.
- Provide assistance to customers with menu selection or special requests.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines in the preparation and handling of food and beverages.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning and restocking supplies as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Food Handler Certification is **mandatory**.
- Previous Barista experience in a café or coffee shop strongly preferred.
- Previous bubble tea shop experience is a plus.
- Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant setting is a plus.
- Previous retail experience is a plus (handling of books and other merchandise).
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating changes.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
