If you are passionate about commercial insurance and share the ambition to revolutionize the commercial insurance space, we are currently on the lookout for a talented Property Underwriter who share our appetite for underwriting reality and excellence.

As a Complex Risk Underwriter, you will underwrite larger and/or more complex exposures and assist brokers by being responsive, engaged, and work towards finding appropriate terms and conditions for each unique risk. In this role you will expand your underwriting skills in progressive hybrid environment.

**Main responsibilities**
- Underwrite and service New Business in accordance with our underwriting and contract guidelines,
- Build and develop business relationships with existing and new brokers through exceptional service and marketing visits,
- Collaborate with colleagues on current and future opportunities,
- Represent the company at industry events as required, and
- Stay current with market intelligence and commercial insurance trends.

**Profile**
- 2+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience
- Knowledge of Guidewire, an asset
- Confidence and ability to analyze and make decisions
- Adaptability and flexibility in the face of change
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Sense of responsibility
