D.R. Fawcett Solutions Inc. is a locally owned and operated electrical contracting business serving Thunder Bay and surrounding areas. We take pride in our workmanship, reliability, and commitment to excellent customer service. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator / Bookkeeper to join our small, dedicated team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks
- Prepare and send invoices, track payments, and manage accounts receivable/payable
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records
- Process payroll and ensure timely submission of payroll remittances and WSIB reports/payments
- Maintain employee records and assist with onboarding documentation
- Support tax filings and communicate with external accountants as needed
- Organize and file documents (both physical and digital)
- Order office supplies and assist with job scheduling, quotes, and work orders
- Provide general support to management and field staff
**Qualifications**:
- 1-2 years of experience in office administration and/or bookkeeping
- Basic knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Experience with payroll processing, WSIB, and CRA remittances
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a small-office environment
