Overview:
In Business since 1919 and still growing, Arrow is a leader in bulk commodity hauling, reload operations, freight management, logistics, consulting, and technology with operations throughout Canada and the U.S.

This growing Arrow division is managed out of the warehouse includes the Pneumatic Trucks division, Flat Deck Trucking, Warehouse Operations and the Container Yard. The warehouse encompasses 230,000 square feet with product shipping throughout Western Canada. In order to support Arrow's growing transportation network and offer additional outdoor storage, a container/pipe yard was implemented in June of this year to handle oilfield tubulars, line pipe, and other industrial commodities.

**General Labourer** to join us and become part of our Arrow family in Edmonton.

**Responsibilities**:
As general labourer at our Alberta Reload Logistics Division, you will:

- Assist with general yard clean up and maintenance.
- Perform manual labour tasks and support operations.
- General rigging, shunting trailers, forklift operation, and pneumatic loading of trailers - pending certification/training.
- Work in adherence to all safe work practices, procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements.
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of yard, shop, department, or work crew.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.

You Possess:

- Previous general labourer and forklift experience
- Previous container destuffing experience
- A positive team attitude
- A strong safety mindset with a committment to safety protocols
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job (ie. able to lift 50lbs)
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
