FS PARTNERS is a retail division of GROWMARK, Inc. serving local producers from 16 branch locations across central and southern Ontario. We provide leading-edge agronomic products & solutions, and precision ag services delivered by a skilled team of professionals.
This position is responsible for the coordination of targeted sales and services along with overseeing and managing our 4R certification within the branch. The incumbent must have a good working knowledge of the products and services available for sale including the pricing, methods of usage, and availability. They will work jointly with the sales team and operations to implement the proper sales processes and utilization of Agvance.
**Essential Job Functions Include**:
- To be the contact person and sales agronomy team support for all sales processes including but not limited to, sales orders, field plans, delivery tickets, and blend tickets in our ag-retail software, Agvance.
- Oversees the branches 4R Retailer Certification, ensuring 4R standard compliance is met.
- Work with the Precision Agronomy team collecting as-applied data and satellite imagery, communicating it to the grower customers.
- Conduct business with grower customers via phone and counter sales, take/create product and service orders in Agvance.
- Organizes soil sampling requests and results, tracks when fields are due to be re-sampled.
- Adheres to GROWMARK’s sales and marketing strategies and attends GROWMARK sales training as offered.
- Supports and invites progressive customers to FS PARTNERS Bringing You What’s Next grower event in July each year.
- Supports and introduces Precision Ag services to new and existing producers which includes crop scouting, soil sampling, variable rate seed, and fertilizer prescriptions, yield data and imagery portions of the program.
- Utilizes the myFS platform to enhance the producer experience with Precision Ag and overall business.
- Maintain current knowledge of the market, competitor pricing and competitive factors influencing the trading area.
- Increases market share in the territory, through inside sales by use of precision ag, target marketing, and professional sales techniques.
**Other Job Functions**:
Support and contribute to total company goals and objectives through collaborative efforts.
Follows GROWMARK Workplace Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures. Under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) employees must: use or wear any equipment, protective devices or clothing required by the employer; report any known workplace hazard to the employer or supervisor; report any known contravention of the Act or regulations to the employer or supervisor; not use or operate any equipment or work in a way that may endanger any worker.
Responsible for operating and maintaining the assigned vehicle according to company standards, adhering to the uniform policy, and maintaining the appropriate professional image.
Performs other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
Education and Experience
Normally requires a minimum of Grade 12 education, completion of college or other courses in agriculture, GIS, plus prior working experience, knowledge of modern computer software and general office procedures.
Functional Competencies
Proven written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact in an articulate and professional manner with staff and customers.
Proven ability to utilize organizational and multi-tasking skills to ensure maximum productivity and manage time effectively.
Proven ability to work independently, in a team-oriented environment, and achieve results through others.
Proficiency in the use of office equipment including faxes, computers, photocopiers etc., as well as other office procedures.
Recommends improvements in service, or invoicing methods and procedures in order to ensure processes are efficient and up to date.

Other Requirements
May be required to work extended hours, particularly during peak seasons.
Must be able to be trained in GROWMARK’s Workplace Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
