Job Summary
The pharmacy presents a unique opportunity to work in a Retail environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant looking to advance their career and service a variety of clientele
**Responsibilities**:
- Assisting the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department.
- data entry of patient information.
- Blister packaging.
- Greeting Patients and communicating with care homes/customer.
- Third party adjudication.
- Maintenance of pharmacy inventories, through the ordering, receiving, and rotating of stock and supplies.
- Handling customer prescription pick up.
- Assist in the preparation of prescriptions.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
**Technical Skills**:
- Above average communication skills (both oral and written)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
**Education and Experience**:
- Pharmacy Assistant experience is an asset.
- Experience with Kroll is an asset.
**Job Type**: Full-time
**Schedule**:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends or Holidays
- Hours of Operation: 9 AM to 5 PM
**Experience**:
- pharmacy: 1 year (required)
**Ability to Relocate**:
- Oshawa, ON: Relocate before starting work (optional)
**Work Location**: In person.
