**The Job Overview**:
A talented retail Visual Merchandiser is needed to help us boost revenue, attract more customers, and improve the shopping experience for our customers.
The purpose of using visual merchandising is to achieve the goals of maximizing profitability, driving brand awareness and sales targets, and converting window shoppers into prospects.

**Responsibility may include but not limited to：**
- Create window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans, and displays for special promotions
- Define, design, and execute an innovative visual merchandising strategy
- Create visually engaging displays that guide the consumer through the entire store
- Identify key messages and establish a distinct image of the desired outcome.
- Develop, modify, and present design concepts to assistant merchandisers.
- Act in accordance with the company's culture, products, image, and target market
- Monitor expenses and stay within the budget
- Supervise the production and brief personnel on the arrangement of displays
- Change displays to highlight new product introductions and reflect holiday or seasonal themes
- Consult with vendors and source materials
- Investigate the lifestyle, demographic, and design trends

**Requirements&Experiences：**

No less than **three year** experiences in VMD or related field
Bachelor of Science in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, exhibition design, visual communications, or a related field is preferred.
Extensive experience in visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays, and space utilization will be considered as an asset.
Expertise with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or other design software
Understanding of current visual merchandising trends and best practices
Proficient with MS Office
Innovative and creative thinker
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Possessing an acute fashion sense and exceptional aesthetic ability, and the initiative to comprehend the most recent fashion trend
Capacity to analyze sales merchandising and survey reports
Visual design/ Visual merchandising **portfolio is required.**
**Mandarin is required.**

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Markham, ON L3R 1H3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Visual Merchandising Display: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Mandarin (required)
- English (required)
