About Us

Danier is a proudly Canadian apparel retailer known for quality, craftsmanship, and timeless style. Our Vaughan-based distribution centre plays a key role in supporting our retail network across Canada. We're currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our growing team and help lead the daily operations of our warehouse with a hands-on, collaborative approach.

**What You’ll Do**
- Supervise the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and shipping of boxed and hanging merchandise
- Lead and support a team of full-time and seasonal warehouse associates
- Ensure timely and accurate shipments to retail stores across Canada
- Assist with hands-on warehouse tasks such as receiving, scanning, tagging, and packing
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliation
- Resolve shipment issues and investigate discrepancies
- Enforce workplace safety and cleanliness standards in line with company policies and Ontario legislation
- Recommend improvements to warehouse processes, layout, and efficiency
- Communicate and collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless operations

**What You Bring**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse lead or supervisory role
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage team performance
- In-depth understanding of warehouse and shipping operations
- Knowledge of WHMIS and Ontario Occupational Health and Safety legislation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work on your feet throughout the day
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and decision-making skills
- Professional, dependable, and solutions-focused attitude
