Kikka sushi is looking for a dependable Cook/Food Prep who can provide great customer service to our customers in the Whole Foods Market located at**:87 Avenue Rd, Basement, Toronto, ON M5R 3R9**

**Full time only**. Mostly Monday to Friday (but must be able to work Saturdays and or Sundays when needed, not every weekend). working between 7am - 5pm; 8 hour shifts including an hour unpaid lunch break.

The team member will also make salad rolls and springs roll, clean and prep foods for that day and the next day, all while greeting, talking to and thanking all customers who come into the area. Once a week you will need to put away the shipment when it comes in.

The Food Prep / Cook will make sushi in advance and per customer's request. You don’t know how to make sushi, no problem we will teach you The team member will also do prep work, prepare other Asian foods and maintain a clean and neat environment while helping customers in a fun, fast paced, exciting environment.

To thrive you must show up to work on time and as scheduled, be willing to work hard (this isn’t an easy job), be patient (it takes about 3 months to get comfortable with the job), must be willing to stick it out (not quit after a few days or weeks) and constantly follow our 3 steps to good customer service.

**Pay: $16.00 per hour **+ up to $75 monthly reimbursement for supplemental health insurance.

**Qualifications**:

- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be able to lift and carry up to 20 kilos
- Show great customer service skills
- Be eligible to work in Canada

**Preferred experience**:

- Working in quick service restaurants, supermarkets or fast paced environments
- Food handling experience and food handler certification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00 per hour
