**The Opportunity**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS**
- Work for the procedure of various product development.
- Develop & validate the analytical method for the analysis of target compounds.
- Perform analytical testing for the target compounds.
- Operate general laboratory instruments for analytical testing such as LC-MS, UPLC, HPLC-UV, and GC and spray dryer.
- Perform and document test results in compliance with regulatory guidelines as well as SOPs.
- Prepare the formulation procedure and analytical method development report and protocol with GMP practice.
- Work as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes in cooperation with other chemists.
- Demonstrate corporate values in the performance of the work and interactions with others.
- Perform other duties, as assigned, in accordance with job responsibilities and necessary departmental objectives.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Education/Certifications/Experience_
- BSc. or MSc. in Chemistry, preferably in organic chemistry/analytical chemistry/pharma science.
- At least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience (academic or industry), preferably in pharmaceutical laboratories or research.
- Knowledge_
- Knowledge of pharma science is an asset.
- Knowledge and experience of analytical chemistry is an asset.
- Good understanding of cGMP/GMP requirements, ICH and FDA guidelines as well as USP/EP.
- Instrumentation_
- Good understanding of common analytical technologies and working experience of analytical instruments (e.g. LC-MS, HPLC-UV, GC, etc).
- Skills/Competencies_
- Organized and critical thinking is a must.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative laboratory team.
- Detail oriented and ability to meet deadlines.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good computer proficiency with MS office programs.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Must be willing to work after hours and weekends to support laboratory activities when required
- Office environment requiring the ability to operate standard office equipment and perform work in a sedentary position
- Laboratory environment requiring the ability to walk short distances and alternate between standing and sitting while performing lab-specific tasks
- Laboratory environment requiring the use of personal protective equipment as individuals will be working with hazardous materials
- Bio-hazard substances and dealing with the use of dry ice & liquid nitrogen
