Irrigation Installer

The Irrigation Installer will follow directions from their immediate manager by assisting with irrigation tasks when necessary on site.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Inspecting and loading equipment for the day's work
- Follow all safety procedures on the job site
- Following instructions to perform manual labour tasks (i.e. Digging trenches, installing pipes and lines, etc.)
- Familiarity or ability to operate vibratory plow
- Ability to map out and flag areas for irrigation installation
- Ability to test irrigation systems
- Off-season snow plowing and salting is available and required

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Must have a full & valid driver's license
- Clean driver's abstract
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position (i.e. standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy objects, etc.)
- Ability to work in all weather
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Working at Heights and WHMIS safety trained and certified

**PREFERRED SKILLS**
- One or more years of experience in irrigation
- Knowledge of irrigation and electrical timer systems

**Up to $30/hour based on experience**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Irrigation: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- WHMIS Certification (preferred)
