**HR Intern**

If you are in a Human Resources Management program with a Field Placement component, a passion for non-profit, and a desire to gain hands-on day-to-day HR experience, then we want to hear from you As an engaging individual with exceptional attention to detail, relationship-building, and communication skills, your commitment to learning will support your growth in the field of Human Resources (HR). **Responsibilities**
- Provides administrative support to the People & Culture department with programs such as employee engagement surveys, training and development, wellbeing, performance management
- Provides support during the onboarding and offboarding process for employees
- Updates and works with a number of HR systems including the Learning Management System,
- Engagement Surveys, and Applicant Tracking System
- Tracks and files relevant documents in physical and digital employee files and tracks the completion of mandatory training by employees
- Participates in HR programs and projects by gathering information, developing presentations and coordinating meetings
- Enrolled in a postgraduate program in Human Resources Management or related field
- Superior technical skills including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and databases
- Provides professional and exceptional customer service
- A high degree of confidentiality, as an HR Professional, when handling sensitive information
- Growth mindset, curiosity and willingness to accept new perspectives
- Passion as a team player and contribute to the People & Culture department and the School

**Job Type**: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Work Location: In person
