**Radiographic Technician (RT) CGSB Level 2**

$50 - $55 Hr.

**Job Duties**:

- Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) to examine the internal structure of manufactured components identifying any flaws or defects while ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
- Conduct test to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using radiographic testing methods and/or ultrasonic, magnetic particle and liquid penetrant tests
- Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment
- Organize and report test results in a timely manner
- Be competent with computers and Microsoft Excel reporting
- Coaching, Mentoring and Communication skills are essential

**Requirements/ Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary technical education an asset
- Strong technical background in NDT
- Conduct NDT inspections and interpret results to current codes and standards
- Excellent report writing and review skills
- Excellent customer service focus with the ability to quickly build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
- Current First Aid, H2S Alive, OSSA, CSO and WHMIS certifications
- Current police background check will be required
- Valid Class 5 Drivers’ License and clean Driver’s Abstract
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Adherence to Safe Work Practices and follow all safety guidelines
- Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team, as well as independently
- Maintain all required safety tickets
