Purchasing Administrator

**About us**
Our company is seeking a **Purchasing Administrator** to join our Logistics team at HMFT. As a Purchasing Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing our procurement process, ensuring on-time delivery of goods, resolving vendor issues, and providing administrative support for purchasing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue accurate purchase orders.
- Input order acknowledgments received from vendors into our system (Netsuite).
- Resolve vendor issues or disputes in a professional and timely manner.
- Expedite open purchase orders to meet our customers' requirements.
- Communicate any relevant issues to the sales/purchasing manager as necessary.
- Efficiently perform administrative duties related to purchasing.
- Oversee any shipping/receiving issues that may arise.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Buyer or in a similar purchasing role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of purchasing and inventory management.
- Proven track record of building relationships with strategic suppliers/partners.
- Familiarity with laws, ordinances, and regulations governing corporate purchasing practices.
- Proficiency in TEAMS, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to handle pressure situations with composure.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Strong team player with effective collaboration skills.
