**Title** - VP / SVP Client Finance
**Reports to** - CFO, Believeco: Partners
**Summary of Responsibilities**
The successful individual will contribute to the growth and profitability of the business while maintaining and adhering to the operational requirements through the finance function.
Reporting to the company’s Chief Financial Officer, the VP / SVP Client Finance, will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial function within and across each of the Divisions reporting on those matters in a timely and accurate fashion.
This individual will be accustomed to dealing with complex reporting issues and be a strong resource for various internal stakeholders when it comes to managing client finance. Manage the financial planning, forecasting and budget processes at the client and Divisional levels and provide financial guidance and counsel for strategic and tactical activities as required.
Oversee preparation and dissemination of accurate and timely financial information for the CFO including, but not limited to, internal and external financial and management reporting, in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Ensure that effective processes and adequate controls are in place both at the corporate level and within each Division for timely data collection of all elements required to produce necessary financial statements. Partner with the CFO in the development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancements of internal financial controls, policies, procedures, processes, and systems, as well as internal/external audits.
Assist team members with using existing, and developing new, metrics to measure performance, and ensure systems and processes are in place to provide timely and accurate information to support them.
Contribute to the implementation of the company’s operational plan and strategic business plan with the executive management team.
Demonstrates critical technical or professional knowledge/skills related to the role and expands technical knowledge/skills and keeps up to date in own area of expertise.
Consults widely for business or technical advice, probes for facts and obtains information from a wide variety of sources. Draws parallels across situations and contexts. Aims to improve upon past performance.
Manages the hiring, training and retaining of skilled accounting and finance team members.
**Professional Experience / Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce or Administration with CPA or equivalent designation
- A minimum of 12+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in financial management with increasing responsibilities for multi-faceted direction and planning
- Deep understanding of complex accounting / client finance issues with an ability to provide sound, solution-oriented analysis.
- Has led through growth, building a scalable profitable business.
- Experience managing complexity having led client finance function or a finance department in organizations with multiple stakeholders.

- Well-honed interpersonal and communication skills required to work collaboratively with a successful track record with people at all levels;
- Proven ability to effectively deliver on a complex portfolio of work
- Proven ability to deliver results as a leader working through a team environment.

Believeco:Partners has a hybrid work model with the expectations that individuals attend their closest office if they are within a 45 km radius 3 days per week.
