**About TOP Sports**

TOP Sports is proud to offer the only true competitive multi-sport model for youth in Ontario, which combines competitive hockey, soccer, and lacrosse and serves as the ultimate well-rounded sports experience for youth.

Throughout the school year (September to June), we run Academy teams, Development programs, Learn-to-Play sessions, and Camps for children ages 4-13, at a variety of locations in Central Toronto. Typically sessions take place before and after-school (6pm-9pm), and on weekends (9am-8pm).
- As a social media intern, you will focus on growing your skills in all aspects of social media, including paid and organic, on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

The position will include:

- On-Site content creation and timely posting
- Captions & Copywriting
- Paid social support and monitoring
- Monthly content calendar creation

This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, creative, and with a bold approach to social media. You should be comfortable in a fun, fast-paced environment, as you'll be a key team member supporting our social media strategy

Note: This is a semester-long (3-4 month) internship with a rapidly growing small business.

**Responsibilities**
- Social Media Listening: Monitor competitors and relevant industry trends and identify opportunities for commentary or participation.
- Copywriting: Assist with creating eye-catching social media captions.
- Content Creation: Help create content as dictated by the monthly calendar to promote programs
- Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Creating graphic and visual content for social media, including Reels and photo editing
- Paid Social: campaign creation, tracking, optimization and reporting
- Reporting: Bi-weekly reporting to the leadership team on social media growth, engagement, and metrics.

**Requirements**:

- Part-time, 7-10 hours per week
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in social media, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Understanding of the sports industry, including youth sports, professional sports, and industry trends
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Tenacious self-starter with a high level of initiative and strong follow-through
- Deep knowledge of social media platforms
- Comfortable using basic photo and video editing apps like Photoshop, Inshot, or Capcut
- Good organizational and project management skills
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and communicate with others
