We are looking for an experienced forklift operator to join our operations team in our Mississauga office. Working in a team environment, you will be involved with shipping and receiving various products and materials.

**Shift** **availability**: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- General warehouse duties
- Pick, ship and receive products accurately
- Process the appropriate paperwork
- Inventory Management and database maintenance
- Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy of inventory
- Must have experience with various forklift equipment, specifically counterbalance forklift and Crown reach truck
- Operate all equipment safely and utilize the forklift to prepare products for shipping, receiving and inventory management
- Safe and efficient movement of Product (moving pallets inside the warehouse)
- Load and unload various materials and skids
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse
- Able to multitask and shift activities at any time
- Adhere to safety standards
- Keep all shipping / receiving areas organized
- Act as back up to other staff, and other general duties as assigned
- Special projects as assigned
- Experience in warehousing environment is required
- Performs work in a safe, efficient and courteous manner
- Complete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentation
- Update supervisor on issues or concerns
- Support and maintain all corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices and work instructions

**Required**:

- 2+ years of Forklift operating experience
- Forklift Operator certificate
- MUST hold a valid License - Counter balance Forklift and Reach Truck
- Must possess and be able to maintain as appropriate, any valid Province of Ontario requirements to operate mechanized equipment
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Must be familiar with requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations for the safe performance of his/her duties and responsibilities or capable of obtaining familiarity of same
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to repeatedly lift over 50 lbs
- Possess a high level of attention to detail

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Forklift Operator: 2 year (required)
- Warehouse: 2 year (preferred)
- LTL experience: 2 year (Prefered)
- Crown Reach Truck: 2 year (required)
- Warehouse inventory management: 1 year (preferred)
- Inventory control: 1 year (preferred)

Licence:

- Certified Forklift Operator ( Required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Job Duties:

- Load and unload trucks, FTL and LTL
- Move and stack materials on floor and racking system
- Follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures
- Receive/process shipments

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
