Earn a solid income maintaining our current rental fleet and customers while building new relationships and new customers in the Greater Toronto Area, Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo Region & Moncton.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory management, including data entry for parts ordering, receiving, and stocking.
- Coordinate purchasing activities to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess stock.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to procure high-quality parts at competitive prices.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions for procurement.
- Utilize systems for effective tracking and management of parts inventory.
- Collaborate with service departments to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct demand planning to forecast future parts requirements based on historical data and market trends.
- Maintain a clean and organized parts area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to parts availability.
**Skills Needed**:
- Proven experience in a dealership environment is highly desirable.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Proficient in purchasing processes and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of procurement practices and sourcing strategies.
- Familiarity with trailer and truck is advantageous.
- Experience in working safely in a shop or parts environment.
- Proficient in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for inventory tracking.
- Understanding of demand planning techniques to optimize inventory levels.
