**Human Resource Generalist**

**Choices is offering a position within the Human Resources department. **The Human Resource Generalist will assist in maintaining effective internal procedures, support recruiting and retention efforts, and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HR functions.

**Bona Fide Requirements**:
Engage in all aspects of behaviour management; be licensed to drive in the province of Ontario; obtain a Vulnerable Sector Screening Check and obtain a valid first aid certificate and other mandatory education as deemed appropriate by Choices.

**Objective/Purpose of the Human Resource Generalist**:
The HR generalist will deliver high quality service to all employees by responding to human resources and employment related inquiries effectively and on a timely manner. They will work in partnership with the Human Resources Manager, Director of Service Delivery and Management team by providing support and guidance on disciplinary actions and promoting HR programs to create a conflict-free workplace. They will assist in development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:
Has the ability to effectively use platforms including but not limited to Microsoft 365Office, SharePoint, ShareVision, Surge Learning and IBEX. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Forms to record, manage and interpret data.

**Level of Education**:
Human Resources related certificate with 1+ years in a Human Resources role

**Salary**: From $53,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
