Packaging Line Facility Assistant

Coaldale, Canada HyTech Production Ltd. Full time

HyTech Production Ltd. is seeking a Packaging Line Facility Assistant to work with the Floor Supervisor in our Treating and Packaging Facility. Extended work hours may be required.

Duties Include:

- Packaging verifications
- Checking the bag gusset
- Ensuring tags are set up correctly
- Fishbein sewing head troubleshooting
- Installing the bag crepe tape
- Sewing machine thread changes
- Packaging system clean downs
- Forklift operation
- Confined Space Entry
- Bin Clean downs

Key Qualifications:

- A valid driver’s license
- Need to be able to lift 25kg.
- Forklift experience is an asset, but we can train.
- Strong logic and attention to detail.
- Ability to withstand standing for extended periods of time.
- Basic numeracy skills
