We are currently seeking a Field Technician to join our team in our Surrey, BC office. The Field Technician will need their Level 3 Rope Access Certification. They will be responsible for inspections of cranes and lift equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities**: - Operating specialized knowledge of "Rope Access Technology" to execute projects from inception through to completion - Inspection services that support asset integrity in difficult-to-access locations include a full range of conventional non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions, such as magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, visual testing, ultrasonic thickness measurement, eddy current testing, and positive material identification. - Ensuring that complete and thorough inspections are performed on all scheduled equipment - Ensuring that complete and thorough inspections are performed on all scheduled equipment - Recording your findings in accordance with Kova Engineering’s procedures and producing accurate and timely technical reports and invoices - Maintaining inspection equipment - Furthering personal knowledge by completing courses and receiving tickets related to the field - Representing Kova Engineering in a professional and courteous manner, using exemplary communication, and maintaining client satisfaction and personal professionalism **Requirements**: - IRATA Level 3 Certification - Current safety certificates - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Must demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail in all aspects of work - Fast learner with a desire to grow professionally and personally - Strong Mechanical aptitude - Team player with ability to work independently and with minimum direction - Must be comfortable working at heights - Applicant must have a valid driver license with a clean drivers abstract, and be legally entitled to work in Canada **Benefits**: - Competitive compensation - Employer paid benefits package including dental, extended health and health spending account - RRSP match program - Company vehicle provided - Profit sharing - Annual employee review and performance-based pay raise - Paid holidays - Annual events including team building trip and Christmas party **For your resume to be considered, you must include your cover letter, resume and drivers abstract.** **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $24.00-$32.00 per hour Schedule: - 8 hour shift Application question(s): - Do you have a valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract? - Are you comfortable working at heights?
