Greet guests and accommodate with their first essential needs
- Responsible for making guests experience at the restaurant pleasurable
- Provide excellent customer services
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bartenders, food runners, cooks, and other staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner
- Provide guest with the bar menu and food menu (happy hour and daily special menu at allocated time)
- Arrange table setting
- Take drink and food orders (full knowledge of the menu)
- Make suggestions based on their preference (up-sell drinks, desserts and side dishes when appropriate)
- Serve guest their food and drink orders/make drinks for customers
- May sure the guests have enjoyed their meal
- Keep tables and bar area clean and tidy at all times (remove empty dishes as needed)
- Keep restaurant area neat and tidy at all times
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
- Collect payment and thank all guests for visiting the pub
- If appropriate and when applicable ask guests for a review on google/tag RP Rendezvous Pub on social media platforms (only if the guests are engaging with you and have vocalized of the exceptional service you provided them with) this is not mandatory to do
- Check identification of customers to verify guests are of legal drinking age
- Make responsible call and attempt to limit problems related to guest excessive drinking by following established liquor license guidelines
- Thorough knowledge of the terms and conditions provided by the Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch - (handbook will be available on site)
- You will be provided a script that will guide and assist you with serving Steps and Timings
- You may be required to perform and/or help out with other duties within the restaurant
- Complete and sign off server job/bartender duty checklist
- You may be required to perform and/or help out with other duties within the restaurant

**Required: 1 to 2 years serving/bartending experience**

**Serving it Right CERTIFICATE**

Pay: From $17.40 per hour
