We are looking for a Dental Assistant to be responsible for all patient care activities, from pre-surgical checks to post-surgical recovery. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail and should have great communication skills. The goal is to help preserve the family’s dentistry by ensuring the patients’ experience is positive and they feel safe and comfortable. We are a small practice with a small staff so you will have a lot of support from our team. We are closed on Sundays so you can have time off We are closed on Holidays so you can have time off for your personal holidays If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you

**Qualifications**:

- Must have a DMD or DDS degree (or be graduating soon)
- Must be able to work in an office setting with a variety of tasks such as preparing patients for their treatments, answering phones, taking payments, and performing general office duties such as writing letters, copying/scanning documents, etc.
- Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to bend, kneel, reach overhead, push, pull, and maneuver patients in wheelchairs during the course of the day. Must be able to type at least 50 words per minute.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Must be familiar with dental instruments and basic dental knowledge.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
