**Job Summary**:
**Duties**:

- Build and assemble components according to specifications
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and fabricate materials
- Operate plasma cutting equipment to cut metal pieces
- Utilize cranes or other lifting equipment to move heavy materials
- Weld components together using various welding techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and precision of finished products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Area of specialization**:

- Fitting structures out of carbon steel, aluminum or stainless.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role or field
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes
- Familiarity with plasma cutting equipment and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Experience with welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding
- Knowledge of calipers or other measuring tools for precise measurements
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
