Apprentice Painter

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled painter helper with experience in all things prepping for painting like masking, taping, sanding etc. We're also open for someone who wants to build a long term career in spray painting who is a quick learner & has a very strong work ethic. Prior experience in spraying with airless/hvlp systems is a great bonus.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks as needed.
- Mask windows, trims & other surfaces as required on-job.
- Pressure wash houses to prep for painting.
- Clean & maintain equipment/shop area & trailer.
- Work on-site in and outside client's homes
- Maintenance/cleaning of spray equipment
- Remove & Install finished cabinet doors & drawers.
- Conduct touch-ups and repairs on painted surfaces as required.
- Perform heavy lifting and assist with the installation of various materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

**Qualifications**
- Comfortable working on tall ladders
- Experienced in taping surfaces in exterior.
- Experience in preparing surfaces for painting like sanding, taping, repairing etc(Preferred not mandatory).
- Any experience in spray painting is a bonus
- Knowledge of relative trade skills like basic carpentry is preferred.
- Must know how to work with drill/tools to install/remove cabinets etc.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with painting projects.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and quality finishes.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
