**Position Overview**:
The warehouse worker is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, packing orders, checking in and shipping orders, picking and packing orders, and maintaining cleanliness of the work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload trucks with incoming materials or outgoing materials
- Pack orders into boxes or crates for shipping
- Check in and list products or merchandise in a timely manner
- Ensure all products are packed correctly
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse at all times - including the loading area
- Work as a part of a team in a warehouse
- Follow all safety regulations company policy

**Skills**:

- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Good communication skills in English in order to work with other employees and customers
- Basic math skills to calculate amounts needed for ordering and shipping

This position will require the individual to be on their feet for long periods of time. The ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally. The individual must be able to read and write in English. Must be able to follow instructions in English. The individual must be able to work independently with little supervision, and be able to operate a Forklift and a Reach truck, for loading and off loading trucks. On the job Training is available to the right individual

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC V5X 3A2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)

Work Location: In person
