Bom Coordinator

**About this role**:
We are hiring a BOM Coordinator to process Bill of Material (BOM) when received from client and processed/updated within Bittele’s system.
**Job duties**:
- Process incoming BOM from clients and review for potential errors before entering it into Bittele’s system.
- Seek clarification or correction from sales when errors are found, correct or adjust accordingly.
- When BOM is deemed to be correct and acceptable, upload client’s BOM to Bittele’s system according to Bittele SOP and data format requirement.
- Compare client’s BOM and BOM uploaded to Bittele’s system to ensure upload is successful and there are no errors in the process.
- Supplement BOM in Bittele’s system with additional information (Turnkey/Consign, Assemble Location, Comments, Reference Designators, MPN, Qty, etc) as required.
- Review requests for BOM changes prior to updating data in Bittele’s system. Seek clarification when there are questions or issues.
- Conduct changes to BOM in Bittele’s system according to whether change is permanent or temporary, and confirm the changes are implemented correctly when completed.
- Adjust inventory quantity in BOM based on stock situation as requested by Bittele’s personnel.
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary diploma/certificate required. University/college degree or certification preferred.
- Fluent in MS Office software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Basic understanding of various electronic components, PCB fabrication and assembly process an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics industry an asset.
- Experience in Electronics Contract Manufacturing environment a definite asset.
- Detail oriented and ability to prioritize workload under multi-tasking environment.
- Understanding of Mandarin is a requirement.
