**DEPARTMENT**: Logistics & Warehousing

**LOCATION / REGION**: Kitimat, BC

**SCHEDULE**: 14 days on/7 days off (Fly In/Fly Out), 10 hours/day

**REPORTS TO**:Logistics & Warehousing Manager

**KEY OBJECTIVES**:

- Commitment towards a safe working environment and positive safety culture
- Responsible for delivering and maintaining high standards of work while carrying out duties
- Administer specific functions of materials management and distribution on site

**MAIN ACTIVITIES**:

- Maintain inventory data base, perform ongoing inventory analysis and monitoring of daily inventory transactions
- Control and maintain owned and third party rental equipment assets data base
- Process daily Material Receiving Reports (MRR’s), Packing Slips, Over Short & Damaged Reports (OS&Ds)
- Maintain shipping and receiving logs for both incoming and outgoing shipping and receiving
- Monitor and adhere to dangerous goods storage and preservation requirements and maintain SDS documents
- Updating and maintaining materials, rental equipment, OS&D, care and preservation, and SDS logs
- Setup and maintain electronic and manual filing system
- Execution and maintenance of cycle counting system
- Work with site procurement to control internal documentation and general filing

**QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE**:

- Journeyman Insulator and/or Journeyman Parts Person tickets are considered strong assets
- Practical office/field experience in a related area is essential
- Strong computer, organizational, and administrative skills (MS Office with a high level of Excel proficiency, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
- Working knowledge of inventory control systems and processes
- Experience in a materials handling role with organizational-wide responsibilities and/or a willingness to learn
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience and ability to collaborate within a multi-cultural workforce
- Ability to take clear direction, perform within certain timelines and work autonomously
