Job Description: **TEAM LEAD, PAYROLL** Victoria **The Opportunity** As the Payroll Team Lead, you also provide vacation coverage for the Payroll Assistant Manager and Pension and Benefits Advisor. **The Role** Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you add value and are energized by key areas of oversight such as: - Coordinating case management activities of all occupational and non occupational injuries and illnesses to support safe, timely, and sustainable returns to work - Providing daily guidance and support to Pay Analysts and Senior Pay Analysts - Coordinating the resolution of payroll enquires from employees - Ensuring staff have appropriate training and that procedures are documented and maintained - Participating in the development and implementation of projects and programs to assist in the accomplishment of corporate objectives - Reviewing existing business processes and makes recommendations with a view to streamlining processes and maximizing productivity - Identifying future business process requirements for new initiatives and develops strategies to meet those requirements **What you bring to the team** You have completed the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation under the National Payroll Institute. As well as a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or other related discipline.
