**Scope of Position**

Reporting to the Manager - Supplier Quality, the Supervisor - Receiving Inspection Quality will support the Receiving Inspection team by ensuring that the quality management system applicable to the Receiving Inspection area is maintained to MHICA established processes and applicable industry standards. This position will address all related Receiving Inspection activities such as monitoring newly received products, daily rejection (ITAG) creation and closure, MRB through-put, as well as support of other activities such as internal/external audits, and customer satisfaction (internal and external).

Job Duties:

- Provide technical support and prioritize workloads to meet aircraft delivery schedule.
- Review engineering investigation requests regarding non-conformance, initiates quality deficiency reports ensuring that they are accurate, clear, concise and comprehensive.
- Interface with “Production”, “Engineering” and other departments as necessary to issue non-conformance reports, in supporting RCCA investigations, monitor implementation of corrective actions.
- Support and guide team members during First Article Inspections when necessary.
- Manage area inspections for 5S adherence and FOD surveillance as required
- Monitor assigned working area for adherence to quality procedures and work instructions, proper use of tools and fixtures, calibration date of tools in use in the Receiving Inspection area.
- Perform product /process audits in the Receiving Inspection area using auditing principles, procedures and techniques to evaluate product and process compliance to drawing, engineering specifications and MHICA quality system requirements.
- Lead and participate in on-the-job training and process improvements.
- Act as a member of the continuous improvement team.
- Ensure all health and safety rules are followed accordingly.
- Counsel with employees on disciplinary issues and recommend disciplinary action. Resolve informal complaints and grievances.
- Provide clear and specific performance feedback and appraises the effectiveness of employees on their annual developmental review.
- Conduct performance reviews, motivate team members and create strategies to boost productivity.
- Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
- Monitor employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards; adhering to legal regulations.
- Address problems with work quality, issues between employees and other concerns in an effective, timely manner.
- Serve as a link between subordinates and upper management.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Strong, demonstrated leadership skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft assembly inspection tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable, and tensiometers.
- Hands on experience and demonstrated skills regarding First Article Inspection process and FAI specific forms and inspection records in compliance with AS 9102 standard.
- Knowledge and working experience with Non-conformance and Corrective Action Process.
- Advanced blueprint reading skills for interpretation of drawings, part lists, GD&T tolerances and symbols.
