Reporting to the Team Lead, Scheduling, the Scheduler is accountable for the logistics and smooth operation of TNPI’s pipeline according to the Conditions of Transport including, but not limited to, ensuring movement of products on time and to the schedule, to minimize downgrades and to avoid system conflicts. This position co-ordinates supply and schedules the movement of refined product from source shipper to destination meter station on all line segments within TNPI’s Eastern and Western pipeline systems. This position is responsible for coordinating with Field Services, Engineering project teams, and other stakeholders and implementing within existing pipeline schedules all maintenance, repair and integrity activities which can impact pipeline operation. The Scheduler is the primary TNPI contact for shipper’s supply related concerns.

**OEMS**
This position is accountable for ensuring that all aspects of work comply with safe work practices, all applicable codes, standards, regulatory requirements and TNPI’s Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS).

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Schedule Pipeline Product Movements Based on Master Schedules**
- Ensures pumping rates and volumes meet shipper’s supply and containment constraints.
- Manages breakout tankage inventories by adjustment of scheduled rates and volumes.
- Revises existing schedules to meet changing shipper supply requirements.
- Adjusts schedules to facilitate hydraulic conditions or down time required for pipeline and facility maintenance, repair, and integrity activities.
- Creates and maintains pumping windows to accommodate TN jet movements and outside pipeline deliveries to shared delivery facilities.
- Maintains schedules to meet accepted volumes and time constraints.
**Prepare Master Schedules**
- Allocates available monthly line space, accounting for project and maintenance line time requirements. Creates a master schedule for each pipeline system dividing monthly accepted volume into 5 rateable cycles.
- Administers distribution of unused accepted line space to other shippers on a cycle-by-cycle basis (5 cycles per month)
- Reconciles all shipper firm-ups/nominations considering product source, volumes, and destinations for each schedule (5 per month).
- Calculates adjusted line capacity and issue a monthly volume apportionment to APPL shippers.
- Manages firmed volumes vs monthly accepted volumes ensuring volume rateability through each of the 5 monthly cycles.
- Assesses product fungibility and availability of break out tankage in respect to incurred reductions in pipeline capacity.
- Advise shippers of any required volume reductions to maintain rateability or compensate for incurred capacity reductions.
- Supplies each shipper with a list of individual tender numbers and volumes.
**Communication**
- Discusses schedules changes or shipper supply adjustments to facilitate pipeline or shipper requirements.
- Reconciles supply differences between shippers.
- Maintains strong communication with project and maintenance teams to coordinate timing and product availability for planned and unplanned line outages.
