**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales and Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role requires proficiency in various administrative tasks, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. This role will support the sales team by handling multiple tasks - processing orders, invoicing, maintaining customer records and sales data, managing customer inquiries and compiling sales reports.
Key duties include updating customer databases, coordinating with other departments for order fulfillment, and providing excellent customer service. Essential skills for this role are strong organizational abilities, good communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency with accounting software and MS Office.
**Duties**:
**Customer Management**: Maintain and update customer records in databases, respond to customer inquiries and complaints, and provide after-sales support.
**Data and Reporting**: Keep track of sales records, process paperwork like invoices and payments, and compile regular sales reports to monitor performance.
**Administrative Support**:
Provide general administrative assistance to the sales team, which may include coordinating meetings and managing documents.
**Coordination**:
Liaise with other departments, such as finance and operations, to ensure smooth order delivery and overall workflow.

The ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a structured workflow is crucial.
- **Attention to Detail**:
Essential for accurate data entry, order processing, and record-keeping.
- **Communication Skills**:
Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and team members.
- **Technical Proficiency**:
Experience with MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is often required.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Familiarity with office management practices and procedures is a plus.
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service or support role will be beneficial for this position.
