Scada -project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team at Dexcent. This important position will lead SCADA implementation and migration projects on a remote basis, with in person meetings and visits to client sites as needed, etc.

- A Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10+ years in a project management role in SCADA, Industrial IT environments.
- Experience with SCADA integration projects.
- Experienced with Enterprise SCADA (AKA OAsys).
- Experience with creation and maintenance of technical documentation and reports.
- Experience working in a multi-discipline/matrix environment, with competing priorities.
- Experience delivering multiple projects simultaneously, that create or evolve operational processes, using an engineered approach, design reviews and management of changes.
- A good working knowledge of the PMBOK and experience working with a PMO.
- Experience working with waterfall, agile and hybrid project management approaches.

The following are an asset, but not required:

- Experience with Kanban.
- Oil and gas industry experience with a preference for pipeline experience.
- Experience with Centres of Excellence.
- PMP designation.

**About the Role**

The Project Manager leads SCADA implementation, upgrade, and migration projects, working with clients to ensure projects are delivered with excellent quality, on time and within budget.
- Work with senior leadership to develop scope of work and estimate resources, costs, etc. for proposals.
- Complete delivery planning: understand the nature of requests, skill set requirements and capacity management in order to allocate time and resources in an efficient manner that will produce the highest quality deliverable.
- Develop and execute project plans including detailed work plans, schedule, cost estimate and management process, risk management plan, resources, change management plan and process, issue management process, communication plan, quality control, procurement, and compliance.
- Lead project meetings, collaboratively develop project objectives and identify and manage key milestones with the project team.
- Manage projects and project teams to the project plan, including balancing scope, schedule, quality, resources, costs, and changes, etc. to ensure key milestones and activities are achieved on time and budget.
- Establish and manage advisory/governance groups as needed to support successful delivery of the projects.
- Track project metrics and regularly produce and share reports on project progress and metrics.
