**We are looking for an experienced and skilled Brake Press Operator to join our new job site in Burlington, Ontario. We are offering a full-time hourly position.**

You will be responsible for taking up a variety of supporting tasks in a safe and efficient manner with a focus on producing a finished product of superior quality. Excellent time management skills, good communication and teamwork is essential as all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers to ensure production procedures are carried out.

**Schedule - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Friday - Overtime as needed**

**Two weeks paid Vacation**

**3 paid Sick days**

**Duties**:

- Configure and operate Shear and programmable Brake Press machines to manufacture different gauges of custom trims using galvanized and pre-painted sheet metal material, according to work order, blueprints, sketches, templates, etc.
- Quality control check on all labor work orders (verify based on work order).
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the shop/working area.
- Proper packing, labeling, bundling, and tagging of the of the products.
- Maintaining and servicing of equipment as needed or required.
- Verify Imperial and Metric measurements using tape measures, micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, protractors, and other precision-measuring instruments.
- Ensuring proper safety measures while working, such as wearing personal protective equipment for face and body.
- Ensure the machine is calibrated and cleaned.
- Proper housekeeping practices.
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.
- Good communication abilities.

**Qualifications and Expereince**
- Experience with Shear and Brake Press Machines (Schechtl Machines are an asset)
- Experience working with sheet metal and aluminum
- Industrial equipment operation experience is a plus.
- Proficient in operating a forklift.
- Verbal and written communication skills

**Physical Requirements**

Able to lift above 50 pounds

Standing for extended period of times

**Salary**: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
