**ERP Support Specialist**
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Support, Training, and Documentation**
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP-related support within the manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP system issues related to production planning, inventory control, shop floor execution, procurement, and logistics.
- Support production scheduling, bill of materials (BOM), routings, and work order processes within the ERP system.
- Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and warehouse teams to ensure system configurations and data accuracy reflect actual operations.
- Train end-users on ERP functionality specific to manufacturing operations and best practices.
- Create and maintain user documentation, work instructions, and training materials tailored to shop floor personnel and office staff.
**Business Process Improvement**
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business needs, pain points, and system requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for system development or enhancement.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities to optimize workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase efficiency.
- Recommend system-based solutions aligned with business goals.
- Stay current with new system features, industry trends, and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions.
**Testing & Validation**
- Lead or support system upgrades, configuration changes, and rollouts across departments.
- Develop test plans and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality against business requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues, document bugs, and coordinate resolution with developers or vendors.
**System Governance & Compliance**
- Ensure business systems are aligned with company policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor system performance and participate in audits or compliance reviews as needed.
- Project Participation
- Contribute to cross-functional projects involving system changes or integrations.
- Track milestones, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in ERP support or business systems administration.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of business processes such as finance, procurement, inventory, and manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
