**Description**

Our Client is seeking a Senior Project Manager with an IT background. This role involves overseeing project management while embedding agile practices to ensure data access, analytics, & economy support data-informed decision-making. The Senior Project Manager collaborates across the organization to deliver data products as corporate assets, focusing on business outcomes, innovation, & transformation. The Senior project manager will also function as an agile coach by embedding agile practices across the team. Additionally, this role supports the identification, evaluation, & recommendation of project opportunities as needed.

Resource will work remotely, though must be available for onsite meetings when required. Frequency of meeting could be up to 3-4 times per month. Work must be done from within Canada, due to network & data security issues. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply.

**Experience Required/Mandatory Skills**
- Experience in a project management role. (8+ years)
- Experience in coaching teams on Agile methodologies, facilitating agile ceremonies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. (2+ years)

**Nice To Have Skills**
- Active professional Scrum Master certification.
- Currently active PMP or PGMP Certification as issued by the Project Management Institute or equivalent.
- Prosci change management certification or designation
- Experience driving Agile adoption and cultural transformation through coaching, training, and team facilitation. (2+ years)
- Experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures. (8+ years)
- Experience in Agile project methodology. (5+ years)
- Experience in leading organizational change initiatives with proven results. (3+ years)
- Experience with Agile backlog management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps. (2+ years)
- Experience working on multiple projects at one time. (8+ years)

**Location**
- Edmonton/Hybrid

**Work Environment**
- 1 year with 1 possible 1-year extension

**Hourly Rate**
- Negotiable
