**Farmer & Business Services Associate**
The Chicken Farmers of Ontario (CFO) Farmer Business Services Associates serves as the technical and administrative support and lead contact for approved non-digital farmers to conduct their farm operations and business with CFO. As part of our Connects Team, this role provides support to all farmers and industry stakeholders troubleshooting activities as well as interacting directly with our farmer and industry portal. CFO operates in a flexible environment that supports both in-office and remote working scenarios.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**

1. Farmer Support
- Provide administrative support to approved farmers by completing and submitting on-line farm business forms
- Proactively manage farmer reporting requirements to ensure timely & accurate data entry
- Coordinate with communications department to disseminate CFO information, industry updates, upcoming events and/or on-farm related updates by telephone and printed mail outs

2. CFO Connects Support
- Provide portal support to farmers and processors including answering questions, and analyzing problems
- Answer and direct general office inquiries
- Maintain detailed tickets and records of farmer interactions
- Collaborate with technical staff and clients to establish goals and objectives for system improvements and upgrades.
- Create and implement new processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

Education: College Diploma or Degree in Office Business Administration, Agriculture or
Commerce

Experience: Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in customer service, program support, customer relationship management.

**Technical Skills**
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Ticketing System (JIRA preferred)
- Data entry experience
- CRM experience preferred

**Competencies**
- Excellent professional communication (written and interpersonal) skills with ability to present information concisely, accurately, and effectively
- Problem-solver who takes initiative and enjoys interacting with others
- Ability to balance multiple priorities within deadlines
- Develop and maintain working relationships in a cross-functional environment
- Experience and/or understanding of the agricultural sector an asset
- Bilingual in English/French is an asset
