Landscape Foreman

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of landscape construction projects, including paver patio installations, retaining wall construction, and general hardscaping.
- Lead and supervise a team of landscapers, ensuring efficient work and high-quality standards.
- Operate mini excavators, skid steers, and other heavy machinery to assist with site preparation, grading, and material handling.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, coordinating tasks, materials, and resources.
- Interpret landscape designs and blueprints, and ensure accurate execution of construction plans.
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety inspections.
- Provide hands-on support for team members when needed, including training and mentoring less experienced crew members.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or changes.
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring that they are properly cared for and in safe working condition.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations, permits, and environmental standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Landscape Foreman or in a similar leadership role in landscape construction.
- Strong hands-on experience operating mini excavators, skid steers, and other heavy machinery.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with paver patio installations, retaining walls, and other hardscape features.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape designs and blueprints.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Safety-conscious, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Hardscaping Experience: 2 years (minimum)

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
