Our sole business is ensuring we bring the highest quality maintenance service to the fire industry in Canada for the care of PPE bunker suits.

**Job Duties**

  • Month end cycle including reconciling accounts, credit cards and loans
  • Manage day to day bank activities, credit card and LOC payments
  • File and remit payment for HST, QST, source deductions, WSIB and EHT
  • Weekly cash flow management
  • Process A/P
  • Maintain online filing system for cheques, receipts, bills, bank, and loan statements
  • Calculate commission for sales agents and reports sent out monthly
  • Prepare weekly, month end and ad hoc reports as required
  • Develop, document, and implement accounting department processes ensuring and improving efficiency
  • Lead pricing and cost calculations providing annual price lists reviews and updates; Work together with Billing Coordinator on price lists and cost projects
  • Support the Billing team with collections, quotes, and invoicing; Provide backup for billing
  • Support on analytical projects and provide a supporting data and calculations
  • Respond to internal and external customers accounting inquiries
  • Being able to train bookkeeping to one of our accounting staff member
  • Perform other duties and special requests/projects as required

**Qualifications**

  • Bookkeeping formal education
  • 10+ years experience in Bookkeeping with the proven record
  • Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Practices
  • Proven ability to cultivate and develop strong relationships with both internal and external Customers
  • Proven success working independently and part of a team
  • Strong problem solving and organization skills
  • Strong communication both written and verbal

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
